The requirements to enter St Peter’s Sixth-Form are here to help students choose the best programme of study for them, ensuring that they will be happy and successful in school. If your exam results do not match requirements and you are keen to follow a certain course, you are invited to discuss this at any time with the Head of Sixth Form. Most students will study three A-level or other level 3 courses over two years and they will need 5 GCSEs at level 5 or above for A levels and 4 level 4 grades for vocational subjects. It is possible to take a combination of A-Level and Vocational courses if that will suit you best.
See individual subject pages on website for individual course entry requirements.
Equivalent qualifications will be taken into consideration. To be eligible to enter the sixth form, students must be under the age of 17 at the commencement of a two year course. All students must apply and may be requested to attend an informal interview.
All current St Peter’s Year 11 students and Year 11 students from other schools will need to complete an application form to apply for a place in our Sixth Form for September 2026.
