What you'll study

  • You will build on your GCSE knowledge in topics like algebra and trigonometry as well as exploring new topics such as proof, calculus, exponentials, logarithms, vectors and co-ordinate geometry, the Pure Maths topics.
  • You will learn about how Maths is applied in different situations in Mechanics (how and why objects move or not) and Statistics (the analysis of data and applications to modelling).

Students study for two years, with three exam papers at the end of Year 13. It is graded A* - E
