Y12 Work Experience Week

Dear Parents/Guardian,
As part of our new programme to establish Work Experience for Y10 and Y12, I am pleased to announce that all of Year 12 will be completing one week of virtual work experience this academic year. This will take place from Monday 29th June until 3rd July, and students will not be required to attend school during this period. This academic year, Year 12 will ONLY be completing virtual work experience on a platform called SpringPod (www.springpod.com).
SpringPod is a wonderful tool that offers hours of varying work experience across all fields. It can offer a range of experiences in different sectors, or comprehensive experience in a sector of their choice. Students will be expected to upload their certificates to Unifrog upon completion, and this will be checked by school staff.
Work experience is an excellent opportunity for our Year 12 students to add to their CVs and personal statements which must be completed by the end of this year. It will also give them the necessary tools to make choices about careers, pathways and further studies post-18.
