What you'll study
The EPQ is a stand-alone qualification equal to 50% of an A-level and worth up to a maximum of 28 UCAS points. It involves completing a project on a topic of your choice, recording the project process, delivering a presentation and evaluating your experience.
You will plan and develop an independent research project on a topic that you have chosen (that is not covered by your other qualifications). You will be taught the skills you need to project manage and research your topic, given an understanding of how to write up your research and present your findings.
The course starts with taught skills in September of year 12 with hand in project completion deadline of Christmas of year 13.
What you'll love
